Worship Services

Worship Services

Sunday Mornings: Worship Services are at 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary. Communion is served on the first Sunday of every month. Sunday school classes begin at 9:30 a.m. (please see Christian Education tab for more details).

Children’s Worship: Children & Worship is offered for children (ages four to second grade) during the 11:00 Worship Service. Participating children will go to worship with their families for the first part of the 11:00 a.m. service. Following the Children’s Time, children go with an adult leader to the Children & Worship centers located downstairs, below the Sanctuary. They should be picked up immediately following worship.

Worship Committee Mission Statement

Our purpose, as the Worship Committee, is to worship, glorify, and honor God by gathering together as a community of believers where the faithful are equipped for God’s service in the world.  Our corporate worship will be reverent and mindful of our devotion and service to God as we read Scripture, celebrate the sacraments, praise God in song, confess our sins, and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  We seek to enhance the worship experience and encourage the people to participate fully and regularly in the worship life of the church, in hopes that all will be renewed by the Holy Spirit and grow as disciples of Christ.

Assisted Listening Devices

Our goal is that each of our worship services glorify God and be a meaningful experience for everyone in our congregation.  If you, or someone you know, has any trouble hearing the service, Assistive Listening System (ALS) devices are available at the back of the sanctuary for your use.  These small units broadcast the sound from our sound system and are received on a small hand held device with an earphone.  These devices are about the size of a pager or cell phone and allow the wearer to adjust the volume to suit their needs.  If you use one of these already and have any trouble hearing with them, please notify the church office.
