NEED HELP OR CARE in some way from our SHPC family during this Covid-19 time?   Or would you like to help by reaching out to another member in need? For a caring phone conversation to stay in touch, or help with a simple errand or need at home, call Robin Anderson at 865-228-0786 or Sheila White at 865-705-4073.  For a meal at a time of need, or a simple grocery run to pick up a few essentials, call Helen Bruner at 865-368-4107.For help with a doctor appointment, a telecare visit or a blood pressure check, contact our Parish Nurse Laurette Beekman at 865-522-9804, ext. 122. And as always, please know that our pastors, Deacons, and Stephen Ministers are available to talk with you during these stressful times. We are just a phone call away.   Contact Rachel Hamburger at 865-522-9804, ext. 123.  Messages are checked frequently and we will get back to you!

OUR VISITATION MINISTRY AND DEACONS are coordinating a ministry to care for our members more at risk to COVID-19, and we need more help! If you would be willing to participate in this ministry reaching out to those who may have to self-isolate, please contact Pastor Rachel (rhamburger@sequoyahchurch.org).

THE SILENT ANGELS FUND is ready to help someone in need. The fund is designed to meet small, critical needs for unanticipated, tangible items (e.g. food or a car part) and to help anonymously those we come across during our journey. Contact Bobbie Corden at bobbiecorden@icloud.com or 850-4041 with any needs or questions. What an important time to be the Body of Christ in our community, seeking out those we might help in some small way!

STAY CONNECTED: At the beginning of Lent, all households received a prayer card with another household on it to pray for during Lent. Now, in an effort to stay connected, we are asking everyone to reach out once a week via phone, text, or email to the household they received. Please contact the church office if you’ve misplaced your card.
